Mermaid of Mine

I was one of those kids who spent all their time drawing mermaids and unicorns and dragons. I grew out of that once I learned I actually *could* draw people, but some vestiges of that childhood remain. This was from last summer. I was experimenting with these fancy new pearlescent acrylics I had just bought. What you sadly cannot see from this image is that all colors on it are sparkly and beautiful. Unfortunately the scanner does not pick up on a glittery surface, and so I had to settle for simply upping the contrast in psp.
