This piece shows me with an octopus on my head. (The view is from behind, looking at the reflection in the mirror, for those of you who thought there were two people in the picture.) It was a completely random idea, very little thought process went into it at all. But it sort of represents how my hair feels to me when it's wet. Other than that, it was simply fun to do. Ehhh... except when I got to the suckers on the tentacles. Those took for-freakin-ever. And I would like you all to know that I used no references except myself. The octopus was all from my head.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
